InformationThe Power Foundation is the company producing Guaraná Power soft-drinks.
Its current board consists of:
Bjørnstjerne Christiansen, Rasmus Nielsen and Mikael Schustin.
GoalsWhen producing consumer products, the economy is roughly divided into three fields:
1. Production of raw material.
2. Manufacturing of raw material into consumer products and sales to outlets.
3. Distribution and sales of consumer products.
The largest part of the economy gained falls into the two fields:
Manufacturing and Distribution.
Since raw material producers rarely have ownerships of these fields, they are left with the smallest economic gain.
The producers are often based in low income developing countries with limited options to change this division, due to lack of funding and strict copyright and patent laws.
The Power Foundation seeks to change these divisions and has formulated certain actions to achieve this goal:
- To develop means of production where producers of raw materials (i.e. fruit, beans, wood, etc. ) - mainly from developing countries
- will have an increased influence on the manufacturing of raw materials and distribution.
- To produce and distribute Guaraná Power products and products related to Guaraná Power.
